FPC touch fingerprint sensor integrated in Huawei’s new smartphone
Fingerprint Cards (FPC) announced that smartphone manufacturer Huawei has released its Android smartphone MaiMang 4, which features FPC’s touch fingerprint sensor FPC1025.
Sales of FPC1025 for this smartphone model are included in FPC’s previously reported revenue guidance of about 2,200 MSEK (USD$256 million) for 2015.
“Huawei is a leading global smartphone manufacturer and we are proud that Huawei selected FPC1025 for MaiMang 4, following up on the great success of Ascend Mate 7 embedding FPC1020 and Honor 7 embedding FPC1025,” said Jörgen Lantto, CEO of FPC. “FPC1025 supports 360 degree finger rotation capability, fast response time and industry leading 3D image quality.”
Previously reported, Fingerprint Cards (FPC) announced that the new Android smartphone OnePlus 2 features FPC’s touch fingerprint sensor FPC1150.
