Precise Biometrics and FPC announce three new deployments

Precise Biometrics and Fingerprint Cards recently announced three new mobile device deployments of their fingerprint technology.

The Huawei Enjoy 6 features the FPC1025 fingerprint sensor, the Xiaomi Mix features the FPC1235 sensor and the Xiaomi Note 2 features fingerprint sensor FPC1245. All three devices feature Precise Biometrics’ Precise BioMatch Mobile.

Precise BioMatch Mobile is an algorithm solution for convenient and secure fingerprint recognition on smartphones and tablets. The patented hybrid algorithm solution is optimized for small fingerprint sensors and platforms with limited processing power and memory space.

Just last week, FPC confirmed that a Fingerprint Cards’ sensor is integrated in the fingerprint enabled credit card Kona-i demonstrated and released at Money20/20.

Earlier this month, Precise and FPC announced that the new Huawei Honor 6X and Honor 8 Smart India version mobile devices features Precise Biometrics and Fingerprint Cards fingerprint technology.
