An unnamed Taiwanese OEM has launched a new smartphone featuring the IDEX Cardinal Q fingerprint sensor.
According to the company website, the Cardinal products have the smallest silicon footprint in the market for space-challenged mobile fingerprint sensing applications.
The fingerprint solutions developer announced multiple design wins from this customer last year.
Just last month IDEX revealed that its flexible off-chip fingerprint sensor is featured in the Mastercard next generation biometric card.
