Fingerprint Cards presenting first quarter 2018 results May 3

Fingerprint Cards will host a telephone conference and webcast presentation of its first quarter 2018 results on Thursday, May 3 at 09:00 CET. The report will be published at 07:00 CET the same day.

CEO Christian Fredrikson and CFO Hassan Tabrizi will present the report together in a combined webcast and telephone conference. The presentation will be held in English.

Last month the Swedish biometrics company announced that it is adding facial recognition to its portfolio of biometric modalities, and is developing a solution to expand its touchless offerings by combining face recognition with the security of iris recognition. FPC said in its 2017 year-end report that it will redirect resources into growth areas, as it expects areas other than fingerprint sensors for smartphones to contribute twice as much revenue in 2018.
