IDEX joins Biometrics Institute

 

IDEX is the newest member of the Biometrics Institute.

The Biometrics Institute is an independent and international not-for-profit forum for biometrics users and other interested parties, with more than 240-member organizations including government departments, financial services institutions, the aviation industry and the suppliers of biometric products and services.

“We are delighted to welcome IDEX Biometrics as our new member,” commented Michelle Whitfeld, Relationship Manager, of the Biometrics Institute. “The mission of the Biometrics Institute is to promote the responsible use of biometrics in an independent and international impartial forum. We welcome users of biometrics and other interested parties including companies like IDEX who are one of the technology companies supporting our discussions around new development in the biometric cards space.”

David Orme, SVP for Sales & Marketing, IDEX Biometrics, said “Together with its customers and partners, IDEX Biometrics is working to bring simple, secure and personal identification and authentication to all”.

Last month IDEX signed on as a member of the Asia Pacific Smart Card Association.
