VoiceIt voice biometrics added to Upwire platform as drag-and-drop module

Cloud-based voice biometrics from VoiceIt have been integrated with Upwire’s communication workflow builder to enable companies to set up biometric enrollment and verification IVR (interactive voice response) workflows with a drag-and-drop module.

The pre-built module on the Upwire platform implements VoiceIt’s API2.0 in minutes, without the coding and specialist IT skills often required for voice biometric applications, according to the announcement.

“We saw an opportunity to create a cost-effective, simple way to incorporate cutting-edge tech like voice biometrics into IVR systems without having to know a single line of code,” said Ben Brophy, CEO and co-founder of Upwire. “We wanted to make it available to everyone, democratizing the technology to allow for true innovation.”

“When we discovered Upwire and their drag-and-drop workflow builder, we saw the value this adds to the IVR telephony market and knew we had to be part of it. We are excited to partner with Upwire to bring voice biometric security to people worldwide with a simple widget implementation only Upwire and VoiceIt can provide,” said Noel Grover, president and founder of VoiceIt Technologies.

Pivotal Data added voice biometrics from OneVault to its call center solution in July, while Aculab recently launched a biometric speaker verification system designed for easy installation.
