BSI certifies JENETRIC’s compact tenprint scanner

JENETRIC announced today that its LIVETOUCH QUATTRO Compact, a tenprint scanner based on optical TFT technology, has been certified by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). The BSI tested and certified the image quality of the device according to technical guideline TR-03121 for biometrics in government applications.

The LIVETOUCH QUATTRO Compact is a compact FAP 60 fingerprint scanner that can capture four fingers simultaneously. The company expects it to be deployed for mobile use by security authorities.

“After our LIVETOUCH QUATTRO Compact fingerprint scanner was certified by the FBI as the smallest FAP 60 device with our innovative optical TFT technology, we are pleased that the BSI has also confirmed the high image quality of the new technology,” comments Roberto Wolfer, CEO of JENETRIC.

The German biometrics firm will be featuring its products at upcoming border control conferences in Casablanca, Vienna and Washington D.C.
