Precise Biometrics partners up with Swedish cybersecurity company Covr

 

Precise Biometrics is collaborating with Swedish cybersecurity company Covr Security to develop products that enable convenient and secure verification of identity for digital services. The initial goal of the partnership is to carry out pilots during the second half of 2019 and then enter into a commercial phase.

According to the announcement, the collaboration is expected to strengthen the companies’ common position by offering a comprehensive solution for verification of identity for digital services and transactions between mobile units.

Precise Biometrics notes that market demand for convenient and secure verification of identity for digital services is driving strong interest in its Precise YOUNiQ product which ensures digital identity through recognition of fingerprints, face and behavior in combination with geographical data.

The Swedish biometrics company recently completed its corporate reorganization, including the closure of its Karlstad office and centralization of its research and development operations to Lund.
