I3 to provide latent fingerprint support services to FBI bomb analysis center

Ideal Innovations announced today that it was recently awarded a contract supporting the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center (TEDAC).

The five-year contract will provide TEDAC with latent fingerprint support services.

TEDAC is part of the FBI’s Laboratory Division and coordinates the efforts of the U.S. government to gather and share forensic data and intelligence about devices, tactics, techniques, and procedures to help to disarm and disrupt IEDs, link them to their makers, and prevent future attacks.

In a statement posted to LinkedIn, Ideal Innovations noted that “I-3 is incredibly proud to be a part of TEDAC & the FBI’s mission!”
