iBeta awarded Mastercard accreditation for biometrics testing facility

iBeta Quality Assurance has received Mastercard accreditation for its biometrics test lab. iBeta reports it added Mastercard’s Formal Approval Services to its list of accredited biometrics testing services on June 3, 2019.

The independent testing facility is approved for biometrics testing for mobile and wearable devices using facial recognition, palm recognition, voice recognition and fingerprint recognition modalities.

“With the addition of the Mastercard accreditation, along with our NIST/NVLAP and FIDO Alliance accreditations, iBeta has become the leader in the testing of biometrics technologies,” says iBeta Manager of Business Development Evan Call.

iBeta was the first software testing facility to gain accreditation as a FIDO Alliance Accredited Biometrics Laboratory. iBeta is also accredited by NIST/NVLAP for Biometric Testing and by Mastercard to certify fingerprint and facial biometrics technologies.

Redrock Biometrics palmprint identification technology PalmID Login recently completed Level 1 Presentation Attack Detection (PAD) conformance testing by iBeta with a perfect score.
