European Association for Biometrics (EAB) is hosting a lunch talk addressing how the UK Home Office and Dstl have been investigating contactless fingerprint capture technologies using smartphones for a number of years.

As the technology has matured, recent trials have focused on assessing the usability, capture and performance considerations in operational law enforcement environments. A number of technology solutions have been evaluated in a variety of operational scenarios.

The presentation will run through the trials approach, key findings and the next steps. Speakers will be Graham Camm, Tony Alexander and Guy Harris.
