Healthcare Biometrics

Biometrics are used in doctors’ offices, hospitals, and other healthcare setting for ensuring accurate patient identification, or for monitoring patients. Applications can include access control or patient record storage. Patient monitoring outside of traditional healthcare settings can also employ biometrics, and biometrics are also being implemented for developing applications like electronic prescriptions and remote diagnosis.
