MorphoTrust USA gets Frost & Sullivan award for North American Company of the Year for Government Biometrics

 

MorphoTrust USA has been awarded the 2013 North American Company of the Year for Government Biometrics by Frost & Sullivan.

According to the company, Frost & Sullivan’s evaluation included growth strategy, product and technology consideration, customer value and market penetration.

“Biometrics is key to establishing trusted identities, which leads to trusted transactions. Identity verification must ensure safety and security as access is granted to numerous new benefits and services,” Bob Eckel, CEO of MorphoTrust said. “A growing number of government agencies use our solutions and technology for a variety of situations where vetting identities is paramount, from federal, state and local law enforcement to defense and aviation, as well as driver license issuance. We’re honored to be recognized by Frost & Sullivan for our dedication and leadership in this field.”

It’s been a good year for MorphoTrust accolades. Earlier this month, the company announced that its iris identification technologies proved to be the most accurate and among the fastest, based on evaluations in NIST’s mosts recent Iris Exchange report.

Reported previously, MorphoTrust recent updated its Offender ID inmate identification, enrollment and tracking solution, which employs fingerprint and facial biometric data.
