NXT-ID CEO to give live product presentation of Wocket device

NXT-ID will further detail its biometric wallet, the Wocket, at an all-day conference today in New York.

Gino Pereira, the company’s CEO, will be presenting additional images and a live product demonstration. The conference is taking place at the New York Hilton Midtown, and video coverage will be available online after the event.

“At this conference we will show a pre-launch view of Wocket to attendees and online viewers. As we ramp up the product roll-out, we will be hosting a series of events and press conferences to educate consumers on the product features and benefits and how Wocket will potentially revolutionize the wallet industry,” Pereira said.

As we’ve reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, the Wocket is a new smart device, with the aim to replace all of the cards people typically carry in their wallet. According to the company, credit, debit, ATM, loyalty, gift, ID memnership, insurance, ticket, emergency, medical, business contacts, couple and virtually any other card can be stored on the Wocket.

The company has also previously ported its voice biometrics algorithm to the device, and says it can hold up to 20,000 records and up to 100 voice commands can be stored on the Wocket.

Pereira will also be discussing the company’s MobileBio suite of biometric solutions as well as the company’s 3D facial recognition technology.
