IDair appoints Kyu Hwang as new Director of Sales

IDair has announced that it has appointed Kyu Hwang — an aerospace sales veteran — as the company’s newest director of sales for its line of touchless fingerprint biometric solutions.

According to the company, Hwang has previously held positions with Paragon Space Development Corporation, DARPA and the FAA.

“I have worked with Kyu in his prior positions and talented sales leaders like Kyu will enable us to reach our target audiences faster and deploy our touchless biometric solutions as soon as they can receive them,” Jim Cantrell, IDair’s CEO said.

In his new role at IDair, Kyu is set to develop new accounts and assist the product development team in evolving the company’s existing products into new capabilities.

“I am very excited to be a part of this exceptional team and ready to tackle the ever-fast growing market,”

According to IDair, Hwang will be at CARTES America discussing IDair’s ONEprint and innerID.

Reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, IDair was featured in PopSci magazine’s “Best of What’s New” list in 2012 and saw a huge lift in interest in its AIRprint fingerprint scanner, which boasts biometric recognition at a distance of up to six meters.
