This workshop is hosted by IBM Emerging Technologies and will focus on privacy issues surrounding biometric technologies and applications helping to understand key concerns and trends, including impact of biometrics on privacy, privacy protection technologies and gaps in knowledge and practice. We will together reflect upon the many new threats and opportunities arising from the rapid increase in the channels of biometric data capture (e.g. sensors on mobile devices, Google Glass, …) and processing capabilities.
