Integrated Biometrics presenting at Global Identity Summit and other industry events

Integrated Biometrics announced that a few of its team members will share their expertise in mobile enrollment and verification technology at several major industry events this fall.

First off, Integrated Biometrics strategic advisor Tom Buss will serve on a panel at the Global Identity Summit on September 23 in Tampa, Florida, in which he will address the challenges in delivering new, unproven identity technology into the biometric market.

“Significant technical development, funding, standards compliance, and market acceptance challenges needed to be overcome in introducing the Integrated Biometrics LES (light emitting sensor) technology to the world,” said Buss. “The significant advantages of this new technology is now finally resulting in widespread acceptance of it. The story of the road to acceptance will be the subject of my contribution to the panel.”

The panel will take place at the ‘Challenges in Introducing New Identity Technologies’ workshop, which will be moderated by Rick Lazarick of CSC and feature panelists Tim Cleland of Retina Biomterix; and Reza Derakhshani of EyeVerify.

In addition to presenting at the event, Integrated Biometrics will also be exhibiting at the Summit and is one of the event’s Small Business Sponsors.

Additionally, Integrated Biometrics will present at sevearl other events throughout the fall, including the Dataworks User Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina; the Biometrics 2015 conference in London; the International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference and Exposition in Chicago; Asia Pacific Homeland Security in Singapore; and Cartes in Paris.

“The international reach of Integrated Biometrics customers is reflected by our participation in important global events,” said Integrated Biometrics VP David Gerulski. “Evolving issues and trends in mobile biometrics, banking, border control, and standards and interoperability are definitely not confined to the U.S.”

Previously reported, Integrated Biometrics named two new executives to its management team, including Jerry Zuzolo as chief financial officer and David Gerulski as VP of sales and marketing.
