Fingerprint access control added to 1Password for Android

App maker AgileBits has released version six of 1Password for Android that comes with fingerprint-unlocking support as well as a new look to make it easier to use, plus improvements to toolbars and the navigation drawer.

AgileBits says it will update the app more frequently than in the past and will add new “layers of polish” to features the program already offers.

Also available on iOS and PCs, 1Password is a password manager app that allows users to store their passwords in a single place and generates strong passwords in their place.

The version six upgrade is available as a free download at Google Play. Access to the app’s premium features will cost a one-time fee of $9.99 USD.
