SecuGen Hamster Pro and UPx OEM fingerprint sensor available for purchase

SecuGen announced that its Hamster Pro fingerprint reader™ and UPx OEM fingerprint sensor are now available for purchase.

The Hamster Pro is SecuGen’s lowest priced fingerprint reader to date.

These new products currently support Windows but within the next several weeks, SDKs and drivers for Linux and Android will be made available.

The UPx is the USB fingerprint sensor for OEMs that is contained inside of the Hamster Pro. This new OEM sensor is compact for easy integration and very low priced for large deployments as well.

SecuGen’’s line of fingerprint readers include ultra-compact FBI-certified models for PIV and FAP 20 compliance. SecuGen’’s product line also includes dual mode products that combine contact and contactless smart card readers together with SecuGen’’s rugged and accurate fingerprint sensors.

“”SecuGen continues to focus relentlessly on delivering high quality products and tools that our reseller partners require,” commented Won Lee, CEO of SecuGen. “Our engineering team had done it again with the UPx sensor and the Hamster Pro. We have created these products in direct response to the requests of our partners.”
”
SecuGen will be demonstrating both the Hamster Pro and UPx at the ISC West conference in Las Vegas next month.
