Precise Biometrics, FPC fingerprint tech featured in mobile device from Taiwanese OEM
An unnamed OEM in Taiwan recently launched a smartphone model featuring Fingerprint Cards‘ sensor FPC1155 and Precise Biometrics‘ Precise BioMatch Mobile.
Precise BioMatch Mobile is an algorithm solution for convenient and secure fingerprint recognition on smartphones and tablets. The patented hybrid algorithm solution is optimized for small fingerprint sensors and platforms with limited processing power and memory space.
At the end of October, the two firms announced three new mobile device deployments of their fingerprint technology.
