Bodet introduces cost effective option of its biometric time and attendance solution

Workforce management firm Bodet has introduced the Kelio Visio X4, a more cost effective option of the Kelio Visio X7 interactive time and attendance terminal.

The Kelio Visio X4 terminal has the same design and provides core time and attendance functionality as well as a messaging service and web browsing capability. The terminal is available with a proximity card reader, a fingerprint sensor or both to uniquely identify employees as they clock in or out. The time stamp record is stored on the master database in real time. A camera option is also available for an added level of security and prevents buddy punching.

As data is recorded live, software behind the terminal generates attendance reports automatically. Supervisors can access real time reports to monitor staff absences or lateness directly from their PC screen. The software also generates either standard or customisable staff attendance reports for HR, management staff planning and payroll.

Bodet’s managing director, Richard Manby said, “The Kelio system was developed following a five year, £4 million R & D programme. The Kelio Visio X4 complements the full functionality Visio X7 terminal and allows companies to mix and match. Installing X4 terminals at busy entry points facilitates accurate time and attendance recording and messaging. Adding X7 terminals at key points such as staff rooms allows employees to engage fully with the organisation using the interactive functions such as booking time off and holidays, reviewing their personal attendance record or carrying out employee surveys. This modular approach provides a very versatile system which is ideally suited for a wide range of industries including manufacturing, transport, care homes, call centers and customer service centers.”
