IDEX appoints US sales agent

Paragon Technical has been selected to serve as IDEX’s sales representative in Northern California and Northern Nevada.

“We are experiencing significant demand for fingerprint sensor solutions in increasing applications,” explained Dr. Hemant Mardia, CEO of IDEX. “To ensure that we can tap into this great potential across our core markets we have chosen to partner with Paragon Technical, a sales agent with a solid industry track record and a deep technology understanding, especially with technology companies based in and around Silicon Valley.

“Paragon Technical has a large team of dedicated account managers with strong relationships with many of these companies and is therefore the perfect partner for us in this area,” continued Mardia. “This partnership with Paragon for the key US regions expands the reach of our direct sales team which has been focused on the Asia market.”

“We are very excited to partner with IDEX and get fingerprint sensors into our portfolio. The market for biometric authentication is growing fast and we see strong interest from our customers in IDEX’s products,” Phil Kumin, managing partner at Paragon Technical added.

Paragon Technical is one of the largest semiconductor manufacturer’s representatives in Silicon Valley with exclusive agreements with companies including Atmel, APM, Micron, Littelfuse, Diodes Inc, EPC, Tabula, PLX, and Mellanox.
