Precise Biometrics algorithm solution integrated in two Xiaomi mobile devices

Precise Biometrics’ algorithm solution for fingerprint recognition in mobile devices, Precise BioMatch Mobile, has been integrated in the Xiaomi Redmi 4X and the Xiaomi Mi 5C smartphones through cooperation with Fingerprint Cards.

Precise BioMatch Mobile is an algorithm solution for fingerprint recognition in mobile devices. The patented hybrid algorithm solution is optimized for small fingerprint sensors and platforms with limited processing power and memory space.

Last month, Precise Biometrics revealed that it is adding NexID Biometrics’ liveness detection solution, which can detect a fake fingerprint with 94 to 98 percent accuracy, into its fingerprint software. The announcement came a week after the company finalized its acquisition of NexID Biometrics for US$3.49 million.
