Dermalog CEO wins Business Worldwide Magazine award

Dermalog announced that CEO Günther Mull has been recognized as ‘Best CEO-Biometrics Systems Industry’ award at Business Worldwide Magazine (BWM) 2017 CEO Awards.

The awards celebrate the exceptional leaders of successful organizations around the world.

For 25 years, Dermalog has been developing biometric security solutions for access and data security, authorization and authentication services as well as mobile security for law enforcement, civil governmental agencies like national registration, voter and driver registrations, health agencies and security agencies.

The company’s biometric identification solutions have particularly been useful in the midst of the world’s growing population of refugees. The solutions help achieve the balance between providing sanctuary for those affected by war and keeping offenders out — which is one of the main reasons why BWM selected Mull for the award.

“The work of Günther Mull and his team has played an invaluable role in international security,” a BWM spokesperson said. “This is an important field of work and we are only too happy to share their progress with the rest of the worldwide business community. As the demand for safety and security in both the public and private sectors increases, we will continue to make further advancements in this rapidly growing field.”

Previously reported, Dermalog’s iris recognition solution achieved a speed of more than 8.5 million matches per second on a single blade including 40 CPU-cores and was certified by independant testing, auditing and certification firm SGS-TÜV Saar.
