Vsoft adds fingerprint and facial authentication to its digital banking platform Arya

Payments firm Vsoft has announced the addition of fingerprint and facial biometrics to its Arya digital banking platform to provide users with a frictionless and secure log-in experience.

Arya is an intelligent digital services platform with open architecture for mobile and digital banking, with features including Vsoft’s mobile deposit. It will now provide fingerprint recognition for mobile devices and facial authentication for iPhone users.

“Biometric authentication addresses both the security demands of today’s modern consumer and the speed at which banking and transactions need to occur,” said Murthy Veeraghanta, chairman and CEO of VSoft. “Quickly adapting to customer preferences, whether through enhanced security measures or a new mobile banking feature, ensures financial institutions are positioned for success, now and long-term.”

Arya is designed to easily adapt to changing technology and demands from consumers and businesses, allowing financial institutions to integrate innovations like biometric technologies without added development cost, according to the announcement.
