Jumio’s Netverify solution has been recognized twice this month. The ID verification solution was named the gold winner in the Best Fraud Protection category by the 2018 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards and SC Magazine also named Netverify a finalist for its Best Authentication Technology award.

The 2018 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards honor individuals and companies that demonstrate excellence, innovation and leadership in information security. Results are determined based on strength of the nomination and a popular vote by members of the Information Security community.

The Netverify suite combines machine learning, biometrics, automation, and live verification experts to provide the highest level of accuracy and fraud detection without falsely rejecting legitimate customers. Jumio recently announced that it surpassed the 100 million online identity verification threshold in the fourth quarter of last year.

“We are honored to be recognized as the top technology in fraud protection by the 2018 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards,” said Stephen Stuut, CEO of Jumio. “In today’s digital landscape, things we couldn’t have imagined even ten years ago can now be done online with a push of button or through an app. As a result, fraud has increased dramatically across all industries, and it’s now imperative that companies take the extra precaution verifying identities and ultimately safeguarding their customers against fraud.”

“These inspiring innovators have set a high bar for their industry peers, as they continue to protect the world from attacks and vulnerabilities that imperil our security, privacy, and digital infrastructure,” added Illena Armstrong, VP, editorial, SC Media.
