FaceTec selected to secure Evrotrust app with face authentication

FaceTec’s ZoOm 3D Face Login has been selected by trust services provider Evrotrust to secure its remote identity verification app for customer access to bank, insurance, e-commerce, and e-government accounts.

Evrotrust’s app provides e-signature issuing and signing for important documents, such as for legally binding onboarding processes.

“Our new-generation mobile trust services solution requires us to provide the highest confidence that the correct user is actually the person logging into the application. Just as importantly, login has to be fast and easy to use, or nobody will use it,” said Konstantin Bezuhanov, CEO of Evrotrust. “ZoOm easily met our stringent security and performance requirements, and working with FaceTec has been an excellent experience. ZoOm is exactly the biometric authentication solution we were looking for.”

“We’re excited to work with the exceptional Evrotrust team to help secure their remote trust services solution,” said Kevin Alan Tussy, CEO of FaceTec. “Poised for global acceptance, mobile trust services significantly raise login security requirements. Meeting those challenges, ZoOm’s ability to accurately identify user images, verify three-dimensionality (ensuring it’s not a photo or video spoof) and uniquely detect several live human traits – in real-time and concurrently – provides a highly-trusted entry point to Evrotrust’s solutions.”

FaceTec announced a partnership with IAV Automotive Engineering at CES to provide biometric authentication with ZoOm for the “James” connected car project.
