Onfido announced today that it ranked 2nd in Deloitte’s 2018 UK Technology Fast 50 for FinTech and 7th overall, with a four-year growth rate of 3,857%.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is a technology award driven by innovation and entrepreneurship that ranks the UK’s 50 fastest growing technology companies based on revenue growth. All Fast 50 companies have averaged a four-year growth rate of 2,176%.

“It’s a great honour to be recognized by Deloitte as one of the fastest growing UK technology companies,” remarked Husayn Kassai, CEO of Onfido. “This accolade is testament to our company’s innovation in using machine learning for identity verification, and to the success our 1,500 global clients who are able to identify and onboard new customers faster and with less friction in this increasingly fast-paced digital world.”

“It’s also great to see that 6 of the top 10 in FinTech are Onfido clients,” added Kassai.

In September Onfido revealed that remittance platform Remitly, currency exchange service Travel Money Club and crowdfunding platform Indiegogo are using its AI-led identity verification technology for customer onboarding.
