APSCA Digital Commerce Asia Pacific 2019

The Norwegian biometrics software and fingerprint authentication company also announced it will be attending the APSCA Digital Commerce Asia Pacific event next week in Kuala Lumper, Malaysia.

IDEX will be available to demonstrate its biometric fingerprint technologies being used within a dual-interface smart card for payments. Hunter Hu, Sales Director and Grace Yang, Business Development Director, will be representing the company.

In a recent interview with Biometric Update, IDEX Biometrics CEO Stan Swearingen called 2019 an “inflection point” for biometric smart cards and predicts that dual interface will be used more broadly as biometrics become available for contactless payments, and that “remote enrollment will be the key to mass market adoption.”
