Kairos renews RapidAPI partnership with new usage plan for developers integrating facial biometrics

Kairos has renewed a partnership with API marketplace RapidAPI to provide developers the company’s deep-learning algorithms to enable them to build biometrics into applications to meet commercial identity verification needs.

The partnership includes an exclusive usage plan for RapidAPI users. RapidAPI servers a user base of more than 500,000 software developers, giving them access to leading APIs from Algolia, Stripe, Nexmo, and others.

“As an API platform, developers have always been Kairos’ lifeblood ever since we launched our first offering back in 2013.” Says Kairos CDO Ben Virdee-Chapman. “By refreshing our partnership with RapidAPI, it reinforces our commitment to bring accurate and ethical face recognition to more business use cases. We want developers to think ‘Kairos’ when they start their search for face recognition vendors.”

Kairos CEO Melissa Doval told Biometric Update earlier this year that sign-ups for the company’s cloud API had grown by double digits over a three-month period, and that building revenue is the company’s top priority for 2019.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Kairos to offer some of the best-in-class facial recognition and deep learning functionality to almost 600K developers globally via the RapidAPI Marketplace,” RapidAPI Head of Partnerships comments. “We can’t wait to see what the community builds on top of Karios’ powerful API.”
