Bio-key, Fingerprint Cards and Idex Biometrics reporting Q2 results August 15
 

Bio-Key International, Fingerprint Cards and Idex Biometrics each announced today that they will be reporting Q2 2019 financial results on August 15.

Bio-key will host a conference call with chairman and CEO Mike DePasquale, CFO Cecilia Welch and CRO Fred Corsentino to review its second quarter 2019 results and outlook at 10 a.m. ET. Results will be issued the day before after the market closes.

In June the biometric identity and authentication provider raised $2.55M in a private placement of a Senior Secured Convertible Note to repay outstanding debts and use for general working capital purposes.

Fingerprint Cards CEO Christian Fredrikson will present FPC’s Q2 report with CFO Per Sundqvist at 09:00 CEST via a telephone conference and webcast presentation with the report published at 07:00 CEST the same day. The presentation will be held in English.

Mastercard recently issued a CAST certificate to biometric payment card technology from Fingerprint Cards, Precise and NXP, a major step towards full certification.

Idex Biometrics CEO Stan Swearingen and CFO Derek D’Antilio will release Idex’s Q2 results in a conference call at 15:00 CET and the report will be available from the company’s website from about 07:00 CET the same day.

Idex just partnered with Feitian Technologies on a supply chain solution for biometric card manufacturers.

Frost & Sullivan expects the North American biometrics market to surpass $11B by 2023 and to reach $11.5 billion in Europe the same year.
