Onfido biometrics to secure Ubisecure digital identity management APIs and instant messaging loans
Onfido will provide its document verification and facial biometric identity verification technology for Ubisecure customers’ digital identity solutions through a new partnership announced by the companies.
Organizations use Ubisecure’s digital identity management APIs to enhance online user experience and security, and offers identity provider and authentication options through its Authentication Adapter microservice for easy integration, according to the announcement. The partnership provides a combined solution stack for customers with Onfido’s identity verification at the onboarding stage and Ubisecure’s technology enabling management of the verified identity.
“Our technology is now being leveraged by a growing number of global companies for online identity verification,” comments Husayn Kassai, CEO and co-founder at Onfido. “Ubisecure will be a key ally in expanding that reach even further and exploring new use cases, with their prominent and varied customer base.”
“Service providers should not have to compromise on user experience in aid of security – Onfido’s biometric tech is one such authentication example with the best of both worlds,” states Jonathan Clark, VP of Channel and Alliance at Ubisecure. “It’s for this reason that we chose to partner with Onfido and we see this as an exciting new offering for our customers who want to verify their user base securely and efficiently.”
Ubisecure recently launched a new version of its flagship customer identity and access management platform.
Onfido partner Nivo, meanwhile, has signed up Ultimate Finance to invest in facial recognition technology for faster and easier funding applications, according to a separate announcement. Nivo provides instant messaging services for streamlined customer engagement, including biometric ID verification and file sharing capabilities, to reduce reliance on paper processes and cut processing times from days to minutes.
“Business needs are constantly evolving and so we continually invest in our processes to ensure clients have the seamless experience they expect,” says Ultimate Finance CEO Josh Levy. “Our partnership with Nivo will ensure just that. Biometric ID verification technology will streamline the verification process for new clients, saving them valuable time.”
Nivo uses Onfido’s identification verification checks, and raised more than $2.5 million in Series A funding earlier this year.
Ultimate Finance will also explore further functionality with Nivo to introduce new functions to its onboarding system in 2020.
