Auraya Systems has announced the availability of its EVA Voice Biometrics tools for enterprises on the Auth0 Marketplace.

EVA’s authentication capabilities will now be integrated within the Auth0’s identity management platform to enable voice biometric powered user authentication.

Auth0’s users will be able to utilize Auraya’s technology to authenticate their online transactions by reading out loud the digits displayed on their screen as a second-factor in the authentication flow, thus increasing the overall security of the user experience.

“EVA’s availability on Auth0 Marketplace provides users with a more secure yet more convenient step-up security,” explained Auraya’s CEO Paul Magee. “A digital signature with an authorized voice saying the specific transaction code protects the reputation of organizations and individuals from fraudsters and identity hacks.”

Audio capture will be performed via browser, and Auraya said it is already compatible with most browsers, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge browsers on both PC and mobile devices.

“It has been really exciting to work with Auraya on a newly-built partner integration for the launch of Auth0 Marketplace”, said Bill Lapcevic, VP of Business Development at Auth0.

“This best-in-class solution adds an integral layer to our platform that provides our customers with greater choice and flexibility.”

Moreover, this approach allows authentication on most machines at no extra cost, as most consumer smartphones and laptops today come with integrated microphones.

“After speaking with many customers, we have identified the types of integrations that matter to them, and we are so thrilled to have Auraya’s EVA Voice Biometrics as a vetted and valuable vendor in Auth0 Marketplace,” Lapcevic concluded.

Auraya’s partnership with Auth0 follows the firm’s growth efforts in 2020. Last June, Auraya updated its voice biometric engine and its voice biometric extension for Amazon Connect, and most recently the firm appointed a new General Manager for the EMEA region.

The Auth0 marketplace also added 1Kosmos’ BlockID biometric authentication in January.
