We are proud to announce the first edition of MOSIP Connect – a marquee event bringing together key stakeholders in the digital identity sphere, fostering collaboration and in-depth discussions on inclusive digital identity systems.

To be held from 5th to 7th March 2024, this event will explore the relationships between people, policy, and technology in the establishment of robust national Digital Public Infrastructure. Attended by our partners, developers, and government delegates from over 12 countries, we hope that MOSIP Connect will serve as a platform for meaningful discussions, knowledge sharing, and strategic planning for the global establishment of digital identity as public infrastructure, powered by MOSIP.

In partnership with the National ID Program (NIDP) of Ethiopia, this 3-day event will comprise an array of seminars, workshops, and panel discussions, with a variety of offerings for all our partner ecosystems.

For Countries:
1. Conversations around the technology developments in digital ID.
2. Explorations of advancements in MOSIP and MOSIP-based systems.
3. Collaborations across countries, sharing best practices and lessons learned.

For Technology Partners:
1. Ability to showcase solutions to countries implementing MOSIP.
2. Insights into MOSIP’s roadmap.
3. Meetings with potential customers, partners, and country representatives.
4. Discussions focused on digital ID interoperability and standards.

For Developers:
1. Opportunity to contribute to new and innovative open-source digital ID technologies.
2. Networking with other developers and digital identity stakeholders.
3. Explorations on inclusive digital identity solutions that drive digital transformation.

For Academia:
1. Interactions with technology developers and country adopters.
2. Ability to share research on inclusive technology.
3. Opportunities to contribute to MOSIP and other open-source technology solutions.

For Civil Society:
1. Learnings on how digital ID empowers citizens and promotes inclusion.
2. Networking opportunities with technologists, policy makers, and more.
3. Explore how MOSIP addresses concerns around data protection, privacy, and consent.
