Sensormatic to resell CMITech iris recognition cameras in Turkey

 

Iris recognition technology firm CMITech Company, Ltd. has entered a reseller and system integration agreement with Sensormatic Güvenlik Hizmetleri Tic. A.S., and its distribution affiliate, Y3K Güvenlik Teknolojileri A.S. for the exclusive territory of Turkey.

Under the agreement, Sensormatic also retains non-exclusive rights to resell CMITech’s solutions in the Middle East region.

Sensormatic will actively promote CMITech’s entire line of iris recognition cameras to end users in all market segments as an integral part of their identity management solution strategy.

CMITech’s products include BMT-20, a binoculars type, dual iris system for enrollment and large scale civil ID programs; DMX-30, a manual tilt, dual iris system for logical access control; EMA-30, a dual iris system for Physical Access Control with embedded controller and on-board encoding and matching; and EMX-30, a dual iris system with auto-tilt and USB connectivity for desktop and countertop authentication.

“We have completed our first major installation of CMITech’s EMA-30 product with great success,” said Ismail Uzelli, CEO of Sensormatic. “These units have been deployed into a very high security access control project within our country’s critical infrastructure for several months. This highly demanding customer is well satisfied with the EMA system.”

Specializing in technical security systems for Turkish market, Sensormatic is a majority owned subsidiary of Securitas AB of Sweden.

The company develops biometrics, identity management software and solution integration solutions for government and commercial clients primarily in the Middle East.
