Precise Biometrics’ algorithm solution for fingerprint recognition in the Meitu M6s

 

Precise Biometrics’ algorithm solution for fingerprint recognition in mobile devices, Precise BioMatch Mobile, has through cooperation with Fingerprint Cards been integrated in the Meitu M6s mobile device.

Earlier this week it was announced that Precise had entered into an agreement to acquire spoof mitigation and liveness detection solutions provider NexID Biometrics for 32 million SEK (US$3.49 million) in cash.

Also announced this week, the company’s board of directors resolved to issue 14,925,373 new shares in Precise Biometrics through a private placement directed to a group of qualified Swedish and international investors to finance its ongoing acquisition of NexID Biometrics while maintaining its current financial position.
