Acuant to provide identity verification for digital real estate service
Acuant will provide identity verification for the new digital platform being launched by software company Noodigs Realty Services to connect prospective home buyers and sellers.
Noodig is deploying Acuant AssureID’s mobile solution so users can provide biometric and alphanumeric data contained in identity documents for authentication. The deployment enables IDs to be quickly captured and authenticated, creates a data log which allows sellers to know who was in their home at any given time, and provides a better user experience, according to the announcement.
“(T)here’s a significant market need to provide a better user experience, significantly lower costs and greater transparency throughout the home sale process. Our platform directly connects prospective home sellers and buyers, creating a more empowering home purchasing process than the traditional agent-driven model,” said Ryan Harris, CEO of Noodigs. “The community model is powerful and largely built on trust. We believe in empowering individuals to create secure transactions and found that Acuant has the same mission with products to enable trust while keeping processes streamlined.”
“Strategic organizations are taking a more aggressive approach to fraud prevention and identity verification while still protecting personal data,” said Acuant President and CEO Yossi Zekri. “With our solution, Noodigs is going above and beyond the precautions taken by the traditional real estate model to verify identities and create a trusted community.”
Acuant recently integrated AssureID with the Experian CrossCore platform, among several other reseller partnerships.
