StoneLock introduced the StoneLock GO edge reader today at Global Security Exchange in Las Vegas. The StoneLock GO combined with the StoneLock Gateway is a complete biometrics-based credentialing and access control solution for up to 20,000 face-only users.

According to the announcement, StoneLock GO authenticates in light ranging from bright sunlight to pitch dark and new multi-face capture capability detects and alarms tailgating scenarios where an unauthorized person may attempt to enter with an authorized user. StoneLock’s distributed, decentralized architecture provides enterprise-level identity verification that is privacy compliant and easy to scale as required.

“Rounding out our complete biometric-centric identity management solution, StoneLock GO takes full advantage of the functionality of the StoneLock Gateway released last year and is designed to protect both security and privacy concerns with an easy-to-use, transparent approach to access control,” said CEO and Co-Founder Colleen Dunlap.

CyberExtruder, IDScan.net, Secugen and Real Time Networks are also demonstrating biometric technology at the show.
