Mobile app for temp workers provides facial biometric time and attendance tracking

TempWorks Software has launched a mobile app for employee engagement to allow temporary workers to perform time and attendance tracking with their mobile devices using geofencing and facial recognition.

Staffing agency employees can use the TempWorks Buzz mobile app to access assignments, search open positions, and review paychecks. TempWorks credits its launch of Buzz and its TempWorks Beyond mobile applicant tracking system (ATS) and CRM browser-based platform with helping it achieve year-over-year growth above 35 percent.

“We are excited to deliver this latest time and attendance functionality to our mobile app to help staffing agencies increase their employee engagement with easily accessible and innovative solutions,” says David Dourgarian, CEO at TempWorks Software. “As the demand for innovative mobile solutions continues to rise, TempWorks will invest in the development of mobile tools that respond directly to the needs of the staffing industry.”

The company will demo TempWorks Buzz, which it says is the first native mobile app of its kind for the staffing industry, at the American Staffing Association’s Staffing World 2018 tradeshow.
