Trulioo has announced it has been given the number one ranking in the new 2019 RegTech Supplier Performance Report from Market Fintech Ltd for the Verification Tools/Identity Checks category.

In a blog post, the company cites a KPMG forecast that the RegTech market will be worth $76 billion by 2020, and suggests that with advances in technology such as artificial intelligence and data analytics, RegTech is becoming a revenue driver and not just a cost saving technology.

Trulioo’s GlobalGateway has now held the number one spot in the Verification Tools/Identity Checks category for four consecutive years.

“Trulioo’s instant verification capacities address a global market in an increasingly borderless world, enabling businesses anywhere to prevent fraud, mitigate risk and ease customer onboarding,” comments Market Fintech Founder and Report Editor Tina Snelling.

Since taking the top place on the list last year, Trulioo has added six new countries to its identity verification coverage.

“GlobalGateway’s consistent position atop the RegTech Performance Report rankings reinforces the sustained success we’ve had in building an effective and scalable solution that evolves to meet the changing needs of financial firms,” says Trulioo CEO and Founder Stephen Ufford.

The company has also recently partnered with Refinitiv to foster financial inclusion, launched EmbedID to help organizatons meet KYC requirements, and launched a Mobile ID solution.
