Biometric access control distribution deals inked by Suprema and Alcatraz

Suprema Inc. has agreed to become the first dedicated access control and biometrics partner to UK security solutions distributor DVS in order to expand its customer base and provide UK customers with comprehensive digital video and other security solutions.

DVS will benefit from supplying Suprema’s wide range of products including controllers, biometric security devices, card readers, mobile credential solutions and time and attendance software.

The companies each expressed excitement to be working together.

“They have an outstanding reputation in the security industry for being innovators both in marketing and technical delivery. Suprema expects the partnership to create true customer value, bringing better service to those that need advanced security solutions,” states Suprema Systems UK Ltd. Managing Director Jamie McMillen.

“Suprema products are well-respected in the industry as highly-reliable, feature-reach and well-integrated into various VMS solutions,” says DVS Ltd. Chief Technical Officer David Davies. “This partnership will bring the best of both worlds, allowing our customer base to access Suprema products and our technical design and support expertise. DVS is truly excited to bring brands like Suprema to market.”

Suprema Connect 2020 wrapped up last month after a series of showcases of biometric and contactless access control products and live discussion sessions.

Alcatraz reaches distribution deal with Clear Cloud Solutions

Alcatraz has formed a distribution partnership with Clear Cloud Solutions, which will sell and market Alcatraz’ biometric facial authentication platform to targeted verticals in physical security.

Clear Cloud Solutions performs physical security integration and designs, installs, and services technology for the protection of critical infrastructure. The firm chose to incorporate the Alcatraz Rock into its portfolio of solutions because of the value of facial authentication for companies attempting to bring employees safely back into work.

“Clear Cloud Solutions Inc. has earned a great reputation for specializing in protecting critical assets in many sectors, particularly the utilities vertical,” comments Alcatraz Chief Revenue Officer Tina D’Agostin. “We’re excited to partner with Clear Cloud Solutions because we believe our Alcatraz Rock facial authentication platform will enrich their access control offerings and the ability to provide comprehensive one- and two-factor authentication protection on the edge.”

Alcatraz also recently signed a distribution deal with NYSS to reach the East Coast market.
