“Explaining” biometric recognition and PAD methods: xAI tools for face biometrics

The European Association for Biometrics (EAB) is hosting a presentation focused on computer vision and machine intelligence for biometrics.

This presentation will explore how biometric recognition and presentation attack detection (PAD) strongly rely on deep learning algorithms.

Ana F. Sequeira from The Institute of Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESCTEC) will be speaking. She has led the construction of biometric databases, managed biometric competitions and co-authored research publication.

Attendance is free but registration is required.
