BIO-key featuring line of biometric locks at Luxury Technology Show

BIO-key will showcase its consumer line of biometric and Bluetooth security locks tomorrow at the Luxury Technology Show (LTS) in New York City. LTS attracts leading media outlets, industry executives, buyers, dealers and affluent consumers.

BIO-key will be introducing the TouchLock Bike Pro, a biometric and Bluetooth controlled bicycle lock that is opened using the fingerprint reader on the device, via a Bluetooth device using the TouchLock app and either fingerprint or facial recognition biometrics, or by entering a PIN number. The three versions of TouchLock Bike will be offered at LTS.

BIO-key will also showcase the rest of its TouchLock line, including its TSA approved luggage locks, home or gym padlocks and its designer series of compact fingerprint padlocks ideal for purses, backpacks and laptop bags.

“Today’s luxury consumer seeks convenience, style and security, explains Mike DePasquale, BIO-key chairman and CEO. “Our TouchLock product line delivers an intuitive, user-friendly interface using state-of-the-art BIO-key security technology and algorithms. We’re looking forward to our first Luxury Tech Show as we believe the audience it attracts will value the innovative design and advanced security our products deliver.”

A few months ago BIO-key announced a retail partnership with consumer technology products provider Aluratek that introduced BIO-key biometric and Bluetooth enabled padlocks and travel locks at major retailers including Best Buy.
