CyberLink to demo AI and facial recognition tech at CES 2019

 

CyberLink Corp. announced it will showcase its FaceMe facial recognition engine at CES 2019 and demonstrate how it can be deployed in smart retail, smart city, smart security, and smart office scenarios.

FaceMe recently placed in the top 20 in the MegaFace Challenge with a TAR of 98.41 percent, and a false acceptance rate (FAR) of less than 10-6 (0.000001).

“CyberLink strives to develop AI technology that can be flexibly integrated into solutions and products across a variety of industries,” commented Dr. Jau Huang, CEO of CyberLink. “FaceMe provides a flexible and ready-to-use AI facial recognition engine, enabling multiple AIoT applications that can transform user experience across a number of scenarios, enhance security solutions and provide invaluable business insights.”

According to the announcement, FaceMe provides cross-platform capabilities that support Windows, Linux, Android and iOS under a variety of hardware configurations, such as digital signage, CRM solutions, Kiosks, access and security systems, and personalized robots.
