DERMALOG Identification Systems, with head offices in Hamburg, is Germany’s pioneer for biometry and the largest German manufacturer of biometric systems and devices.

Founded in 1995, the company provides identification solutions including high-performance Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems (AFIS), Automated Biometric Identification Systems (ABIS) and the latest generation of fingerprint and document scanners. The product range is complemented by biometric border control systemsbiometric identity cards and passports and biometric voting systems.

DERMALOG technology is currently used in more than 230 large-scale installations around the globe. The company’s products are widely used in banking, public administration and law enforcement, protecting the identities of millions of people in more than 90 countries.

One of the company’s latest innovations is the FLC1 Fever Detection Camera, which optionally includes facial recognition and face liveness detection. The solution measures body temperatures fast and accurately when passing by. This can significantly reduce the risk of infection spreading. DERMALOG’s thermal camera was initially developed for border controls and airports. The “Made in Germany” system also protects retail stores, offices, manufacturing halls, sports grounds, events, hotels, banks, public authorities and many other locations.

The following video shows DERMALOG’s infrared and thermal sensor technology in operation at University Medical Center (UKE) and Katharinenhof nursing home in Hamburg.
