Kantara Initiative
Kantara Initiative is a global community focused on improving the trustworthy use of identity and personal data through many work and discussion groups, events and reports. It aims to improve confidence in identity solutions across all markets. It builds confidence that assessed services conform against national standards, including the UK government’s DIATF and National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) 800-63 standards for identity privacy and security. Kantara also issues trust marks based on conformance to criteria around identity proofing, credential management and various federated assertion functions.
